Movement Meets Partnership
Students are invited to volunteer to empower community members experiencing a range of life challenges through the Movement Meets program.
In partnership with Urbanity Dance's Movement Meets program, the OFA Dance Program provides opportunities for Harvard undergraduate students to gain skills and experiences including teaching, administering, and supporting the research on dance classes geared towards healing and empowerment in a range of community and clinical settings.
The program places Harvard undergraduate students at various Movement Meets sites including Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital, McLean Psychiatric Hospital, Horizons for Homeless Children, Pine Street Inn, and Boston Medical Center to be Teaching Assistants in the dance offerings as well as a range of other forms of program support including administration, communications and outreach, partnership development, and assisting with research data tracking.
Students are invited to learn more about what is involved in volunteering and the full range of sites where Movement Meets is offered. Students interested in the program should fill out the interest form below to be contacted by Urbanity Dance.
