Infinite Possibilities

Starry night sky.

Infinite Possibilities is an initiative of the Office for the Arts (OFA) Dance Program in collaboration with Boston-based freestyle dancer, educator, and community organizer Ashton Lites, aka, Stiggity Stackz and his historically-rooted freestyle dance organization Stiggity Stackz Worldwide.

Infinite Possibilities focuses on the history, culture, and concepts behind freestyle dance, a Black American dance form encompassing a vast range of styles and innovations including Breaking, Hip-Hop, House, Popping, Krump, Lite Feet, Locking, Waacking, Tutting, and many, many more. Freestye dance has had, and continues to have, a profound cultural impact and its reach and influence are global. Through panel discussions, movement workshops, mini battles, and dance jams curated by Stiggity Stackz, Infinite Possibilities is a holistic engagement with the form and features a rotating roster of guest artists, from original to emerging innovators continually evolving it forward.

Events are held in coordination with Stiggity Stackz Worldwide's major battle events, extending visits with nationally and internationally renowed guest artists, and connecting Harvard students to Boston's freestyle dance community.
