For Faculty and Staff
The OFA invites Harvard faculty and staff to make art! Several performing ensembles as well as courses and workshops are open to faculty and staff. In addition, faculty and staff are invited to apply to perform and exhibit artwork during Arts Fest, one of the largest collegiate arts festivals in the country. To stay informed of arts opportunities, including over 800 events presented by the OFA each year, sign up for a selection of newsletters below. Don't forget about Outings and Innings, which provides faculty and staff with discounted tickets for cultural activities among other events.
Take a Course
Faculty and staff are welcome to participate in non-credit courses and workshops presented by the OFA Ceramics and Dance Programs. Both programs offer a full range of rigorous courses exploring a variety of techniques for students of all levels of experience, including beginners.

Funding for Cross-Disciplinary Collaborations and Partnerships
Interested in inviting an artist into your course to offer a fresh creative perspective on a topic or lesson? Curious about incorporating artistic practice as a form of research and inquiry within your discipline?
The OFA offers funding and support for faculty in non-arts fields who wish to collaborate with artists or integrate artistic methods into their teaching in ways that foster cross-disciplinary dialogue and exploration in the classroom. Faculty who are interested in purchasing tickets for performances or exhibitions connected to their coursework may also be eligible for support through this program.
Faculty should email OFA Director, Fiona Coffey, to find out more.
OFA Faculty Council on the Arts
The council is made up of arts faculty and staff who help advise the OFA on arts strategies and programs and award student summer fellowships, grants and art prizes for the College. It’s also an opportunity for arts faculty to connect across disciplines and to discuss more broadly how undergrads are participating in the arts at Harvard.
