Undergraduate and Community Courses
Ceramics Courses
The OFA Ceramics Program offers a creative learning environment for a dynamic mix of students and professionals from the University, greater Boston, and the international ceramics community. Courses are offered at all levels in spring, summer, and fall semesters. Complementing the wide range of courses are lectures, workshops, and demonstrations by visiting artists and ceramics symposia involving potters, sculptors, art historians and archaeologists from all over the world.
Each year, the Ceramics Program hosts nearly 40 courses, over 70 guest and teaching artists, and over 800 student participants.
Dance Courses
The OFA Dance Program offers an inclusive learning environment for learning with non-credit community courses in a range of dance traditions taught by highly seasoned dance professionals, and which are free for Harvard undergraduate students. The Dance Program regularly hosts guest artists who lead workshops, talks, and conversations, cultivating exceptional opportunities for students to work with intergenerational professional artists who are groundbreakers in the field and in disciplines linked to dance. Dance courses are offered in spring and fall and are offered free for undergraduates and on a fee basis for graduate students, Harvard affiliates, and the public over age 18.
Each year, the OFA Dance Program hosts over 30 courses, nearly 50 guest and teaching artists, and over 1,300 student participants.
