Twice a year in May and December, the Ceramics Program holds a weekend exhibition and sale of work by Ceramics Program artists. Anyone enrolled in a course at the Ceramics Program is eligible to display and sell their work. Each Show and Sale opens to the public on Thursday afternoon with a festive reception and continues through the weekend.

New this year, wheel throwing and hand building demonstrations by exhibiting artists provide opportunities for the public to view the techniques and skills represented by the work on display throughout the weekend. Gallery 224, the Ceramics Program’s dedicated exhibition space, will showcase works by the program’s 2018-19 Artists-In-Residence, Natalia Arbelaez and Colby Charpentier. In addition, an entire wall of the gallery will feature a large display of unique mugs made by each exhibiting artist, with all proceeds from these mug sales going to support the studio.
Right next door, the second annual Allston-Brighton Winter Market hosted by the Harvard Ed Portal offers even more reasons to join us December 6 - 9!
