OFA Arts in Houses Grants
Program Guidelines 2025-2026
Looking to do arts in your House? Information on funding support provided by the Office for the Arts through the OFA Arts in Houses Grant opportunity. We encourage projects that foster OFA and College priorities of creative expression, community, wellness, skill building and connection.
- Available funding: Up to $1,000 per house per academic year. Requests may be submitted for one or more projects provided that the total expense does not exceed the funding limit.
- Deadlines: Rolling.
- Review and notice of funding decisions: Generally, within 10 business days.
- Before applying: All projects must be discussed with the House Administrator and approved by a House Faculty Dean. The OFA also expects applicants to seek other funding sources including contributions from their House.
- OFA role: In addition to funding, the OFA will provide advice as necessary. Production of the projects is the responsibility of each House.
- Reporting: Recipients of funds will be asked to submit a short summary to the OFA following the activity to inform OFA understanding of the program’s impact.
To discuss projects or questions, please contact Stephanie Troisi, Student Services Coordinator.
Primary Review Criteria
- Contribution to OFA and College Priorities: Does the proposed project align with the OFA mission to support student engagement in the arts? Does the project contribute to one or more of the College’s larger commitments such as wellness, skill building and inclusivity?
- Reach/Impact: Does the project contribute to house life in a meaningful way?
- Project Feasibility: Are the project scope, budget and timeline reasonable?
