SFO-Funded Independent Internships in New York City
A Harvard Club of New York Foundation,Mignone Center for Career Success (MCS), Summer Funding Office (SFO) and Office for the Arts (OFA) program to support students pursuing independent, self-arranged internships or research assistantships at organizations based within New York City.
Positions must be full-time (30 hours per week or more), in-person or hybrid (no more than 14 hours or 2 days per week remote), unpaid (or paid less than $6,500), and a minimum of 6 weeks. Preference will be given to internships which are unpaid. Organizations must be based within the five boroughs of New York City (Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, The Bronx, or Staten Island). Students must have a supervisor based at their internship. Applicants must have a confirmed internship with a host organization support letter by the application deadline. Students pursuing internships across all sectors and fields will be able to apply for funding.
