OFA + MCS + NYC Arts Adventure

The Office for the Arts and the Mignone Center for Career Success, in collaboration with the Harvard Club of New York Foundation, will offer 12 undergraduate students the opportunity to travel to New York City with OFA and MCS leadership over Spring Break, March 12–15, 2027. This year's excursion will offer unique learning opportunities for students who are exploring careers in all genres of visual arts and writing careers, and who are interested in pursuing creative careers or graduate school in the arts post-graduation.

This trip is carefully structured to include a variety of experiences, including:

• Industry Speakers & Panel Discussions: Network with alumni and industry professionals as they share their career journeys and insights.
• Dynamic Q&A Sessions: Engage directly with leaders from renowned organizations such as publishers, novelists, gallery owners, museum curators and visual artists.
• How Art Is Made: Get exclusive, behind-the-scenes access to artist studios and literary agents. 
• Cultural Experiences: Attend live events, exhibitions, studios, and professional offices. 
• Career Opportunity: Meet professionals in the field and explore possibilities. 
• Leisure and Exploration: Enjoy free time to discover the city alongside classmates and members of OFA and MCS.

This trip is fully funded for students including transportation, accommodation, two meals/day, event tickets, and subway passes.  Not covered: Breakfast, free time events, souvenirs, coffee/snacks outside of meals.
