Andrew Gitchel

Director, Memorial Hall/Lowell Hall Complex

Andrew Gitchel has been working in the performing arts for over 25 years. He is currently the Director of Memorial Hall/Lowell Hall Complex at Harvard University.  Prior to his role with the Office for the Arts, he served as the Director of Production within the Theatre, Dance, and Media concentration and has lectured at Harvard, MIT, Brandeis, and Wheaton College. Andrew attended the Yale School of Drama, where he earned his MFA in Design and Production and received his BA from Wheaton College. He has taught and worked in a variety of capacities for multiple organizations over the years, including Boston Arts Academy, New England Conservatory of Music, Colby College, Wheaton College, Brandeis University, MIT, Harvard University, Yale University, Duke University, Columbia University, Huntington Theatre Company, ART, Yale Rep, Goodspeed Musicals, SpeakEasy Stage, Boston Theatre Works, and the Prague Quadrennial.
