OFA NYC Arts Trek

OFA NYC Arts Trek

Explore creative careers in NYC during Spring Break.

The Office for the Arts and the Mignone Center for Career Success, in collaboration with the Harvard Club of New York Foundation, offered 12 students the opportunity to travel to New York City with OFA and MCS leadership over Spring Break, March 13–16, 2026. This inaugural excursion provided unique learning opportunities for students who are exploring careers in the performing arts. Join us in Spring 2027, when the focus will be on visual arts and writing careers.

This trip is carefully structured to include a variety of experiences, including:

  • Industry Speakers & Panel Discussions: Network with alumni and industry professionals as they share their career journeys and insights.
  • Dynamic Q&A Sessions: Engage directly with leaders from renowned organizations such as Lincoln Center, The Juilliard School, Perelman Performing Arts Center, and leading Broadway shows.
  • Backstage & Studio Tours: Get exclusive, behind-the-scenes access to theaters and creative workspaces.
  • Cultural Experiences: Attend live performances, exhibitions, rehearsals, and showcases.
  • Performance Opportunity: Perform during a live showcase at an alumni mixer.
  • Leisure and Exploration: Enjoy free time to discover the city alongside classmates and members of OFA and MCS.

This trip is made possible through the generous support of the Harvard Club of New York Foundation.
