Steven "Rhythm" Garcia

Steven Garcia, who performs under the name Rhythm, was born in New Orleans, Louisiana. Garcia is a leader in the Boston house community and a member of Dance Fusion Family. Beyond the work Garcia has done in Boston, hosting house sessions, workshops, and parties in the city, he also contributed to introducing house dance culture to South Florida from 2006-2011 while attending the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale. ​In 2011, Garcia decided to take his love for the house culture even further and moved to New York City. Living in New York, he was a member of "The House Dance Project" and learned from some of the pioneers of house dance, such as Caleaf Sellers, Tone McGregor, and Sekou Herou. Today, he continues to share his love for house dance and house music with everyone he meets.
