Office for the Arts Releases Impact Report Celebrating its 50th Anniversary and the Power of the Arts at Harvard
CAMBRIDGE, MA—The Office for the Arts (OFA) at Harvard has released its Impact Report for the 2024-25 academic year, which also marked the 50th anniversary of the OFA. The Report details the OFA’s mission, programs, and resulting impact as students connect their academic knowledge with artistic practice, creativity, and entrepreneurship.
In addition to reporting on the success of programs within the most recently completed academic year, the 50th anniversary represented “a milestone for reflection and transformation,” according to Fiona Coffey, Director of the Office for the Arts at Harvard. She continued, “Through the work of the OFA, students engage in transformative thinking, model innovative ways of being, and center our shared humanity through artistic practice. The arts at Harvard serve as a form of self-expression and as a tool to help students shape their futures with purpose, meaning, and creativity. Our students grow and are emboldened by knowledge forged in traditional academic spaces and in studios, rehearsal rooms, residential Houses, and on stages.”
The Impact Report is available on the OFA website. Individuals may also pick up a physical copy at the OFA offices, located at 74 Mount Auburn Street in Cambridge, MA.
