Artist Website

Suzana instructs wood-firing workshops, assists in classes and is part of the Independent Artist program at Harvard Ceramics. Suzana fires in her own woodfire kiln in Connecticut and her work can be found at the website Quiet Pottery. She loves the meditative quality of making functional pottery. Her pots are meant to be presently quiet, interesting to hold, and to be used. She was a student and friend of Phil Rogers for over 20 years and participated in Simon Levin's Intimate Anagama Workshop as well as a workshop with Linda Christianson. Prior to joining the Harvard studio, Suzana was a long-time member of the MIT studio as she created and managed the MIT page web.mit.edu.
