Bio: Violinist Joshua Peckins has taught for over a decade in Vienna and Greater Boston, and is on the faculty of the New England Conservatory Prep School. Former students are currently pursuing successful performance careers and have been accepted into prestigious conservatories throughout the United States and Europe. Described by the President of the International Fritz Kreisler Violin Competition as, “...intensive, profound, intelligent,” Peckins “…is among the most active recitalists in New England,” (The Enterprise) performing with “particular brilliance” (Worcester Telegram). Students looking for rigorous and systematic technical training, combined with creative stylistic and expressive exploration within a historical context are encouraged to apply.
