Bio: Celia Slattery is an Associate Professor in the Voice Department at Berklee College of Music and Applied Music Instructor at Tufts University, specializing in vocal technique and performance skills for contemporary music styles. As a performer, Celia has entertained audiences from Boston to Bangkok with her original music and interpretations of jazz and pop standards. She received her Masters Degree from Lesley University in a program that combined theater studies along with Voice and Jazz at New England Conservatory, and holds a Level III Certificate in Somatic Voicework (TM) - a state-of-the-art technique for contemporary styles.
