Introduction to Wheel Throwing for Harvard Undergraduates
Dates: January 31 - February 21 (4 weeks of classes and studio access)

Level: Beginner - Intermmediate

Course Description: During this four-week mini-course for Harvard College Undergraduates, learn to use the potter’s wheel and hand-building techniques to create mug and cup forms, followed by various handle-making techniques. Forms such as bowls and vases will then be explored. At the end of the course, you will select your glazes and return to pick them up before the semester ends! This course comes with daily access to the Ceramics Program for the duration of the course to practice what you have learned!
Cost: Free for Harvard College Undergraduates.

Please note: These mini-courses are intended for Harvard College Undergraduate students who are not currently enrolled in a Ceramics Program 12-week course. If you are already enrolled in a ceramics course, please sit this one out. To help us serve as many people as possible, we ask that you register for just one workshop.
