Bio: Dr. Ryan Noe is a freelance trumpeter throughout New England. He currently holds the position of Principal Trumpet for the Glens Falls Symphony and Third Trumpet for the Cape Ann Symphony. Dr. Noe is also a member of the Andromeda Quintet and the Fenway Brass Quintet. He has also performed throughout New England with groups such as the Boston Pops, Portland Symphony, Cape Symphony, Lexington Symphony, New Bedford Symphony, Uncommon Theater Company, and the Boston Chamber Orchestra. Dr. Noe has participated as a semi-finalist for the National Trumpet Competition in the Graduate Ensemble Division in 2012 and Solo Division in 2014. He has also attended the Castleton Music Festival, the Ohio Light Opera Festival, and the Bay View Music festival. Along with his work as a performer, Dr. Noe is an in-demand brass pedagogue. He currently serves as the Adjunct Brass Instructor for Northern Essex Community College and the Adjunct Instructor of High Brass for Northeastern University. Formerly, Dr. Noe served as the trumpet workshop assistant Boston University Tanglewood Institute and non-music major trumpet instructor at Boston University.
