Bio: Bass-Baritone Miles Wilson-Toliver is an award-winning Opera singer, Arts advocate, and voice instructor. His Operatic debut (A Gathering of Sons 2017) won a New York Film Festival Award for “Best Opera Dealing with Social justice.” He specializes in 21st-century operas, world premiers, new-works, and operas dealing with social justice, Cincinnati Opera (Blind Injustice 2019) Cincinnati Opera (Castor and Patience 2019), Walterhoope (13th & Republic 2020), Pittsburgh Festival Opera (Rusalka: A Mermaid’s Tale 2020). Offstage, he is the Executive Director of Miles & Friends Mentorship Programme, Curator at Redeemers AME Zion Church, and he is the Founding Director of “Voices of Hartford Ensemble.”
