In the realm of pottery, discerning the success of one’s work or that of peers is essential for growth and development. This class, dedicated to wheel-thrown, utilitarian ware, offers a unique opportunity to blend personalized guidance with thoughtful evaluation of new forms. Students will benefit from demonstrations by our 2024-26 Artist in Residence, Ashton Keen, and participate in three scheduled, one-on-one critiques. Through this approach, students will refine their skills and develop a critical eye for assessing pottery effectively.
