A colorful invitation to seek joy, unity and communal celebration in our everyday lives. The star-shaped piñata traditionally represents the Star of Bethlehem, with each point standing for virtues such as faith, hope and love.

This abstract reinterpretation of dig sites by the [Harvard Yard Archaeology Project](https://peabody.harvard.edu/hyap) serves as a container for examining local history, systems of colonization and how artifacts shape our understanding of the past.
