At the Boston Conservatory, she serves as a Ballet and Modern-Technique Staff Pianist in the Dance Department and Lead Collaborative Staff Pianist for Brass juries in the Music Department. In the Dance Department, much of her work is curating, composing, and improvising music for classical ballet and modern technique-class and stage performances. Her improvisation style blends minimalism, quartal and quintal harmonies, and utilizes hyper-rhythmic energy inspired by her Taiwanese aboriginal roots. Her recent outstanding works include a commissioned piano solo debut, “For the Odettes”, at the Citizens Opera House for Boston Ballet’s Post-Graduate Ensemble (2023 Next Generation show); "Home," a choreographic work created with Demetrius Lee for the 2024 Boston Conservatory main stage based on the theme of *Amazing Grace*; and then "Imperfect as One," created with Junichi Fukuda for the July 2023 inauguration of The Asian American Ballet Project. As a former company rehearsal pianist who works with ballet companies and répétiteurs during summer intensives, she was a guest rehearsal pianist at the 2021 Vail Dance Festival with New York City Ballet, Ballet X, and American Ballet Theatre. Her most recent collaboration was with 2026 DANCE NOW Boston where she was invited to write a piece, “Seasons” for Emily Jerant-Hendrickson. It is a performance series showcasing local choreographers in NYC and Boston to perform contemporary and innovative movement in cabaret-style spaces.
