DESCRIPTION:<p><strong>Level: </strong><a href="https://ofa.fas.harvard.edu/ceramics/definition-experience-levels" data-entity-type="external"><strong>Beginner - Intermediate</strong></a><br><em><strong>This workshop meets 6 times: Fridays, 6:30-9:30pm on September 4, 11, 18, 25, and October 2 &amp; 9, 2026.</strong></em><br><br><span>This six-week workshop uses the potter’s wheel as a tool for making&nbsp;functional objects, as well as introducing ways the wheel can be used to create&nbsp;closed forms and parts that connect. Through demonstrations and hands-on learning, each class will build off each other to gain skills and confidence in clay. Work produced will be bisque and glaze fired. This class comes with 7 day access to the Ceramics Program for the duration of the workshop to allow for “open studio” time.</span></p><p>Advance registration is required. This workshop is free and open to Harvard College Undergraduates.</p><ul><li class="ck-list-marker-italic" data-list-item-id="e733bc110ac138ea3a182644990012beb"><em><span>The pace of this course will be intense, so consistent attendance is highly recommended.&nbsp;</span></em></li><li class="ck-list-marker-italic" data-list-item-id="e7cc1096bc3055f9b31262d05013817f3"><em><span>To give everyone an opportunity to take part, we ask that you do not enroll in both sections of this workshop.
