Are you an artist or student-led arts group creating a video piece as a way of sharing your work in a virtual world? Looking to learn or hone some post-production skills?
The Harvard Dance Center, in partnership with the Office for the Arts, is offering video editing workshops, led by Kathryn Abarbanel GSD’19, on two different dates. Each workshop will be broken up into two parts:
Part 1–Fundamentals, and Part 2–Intermediate. You are welcome to attend both parts or just choose whichever one works for your needs and schedule.
Abarbanel is a filmmaker and a dancer, and a teaching assistant in the Department of Art Film & Visual Studies as well as a Film Study Center Fellow. She is a graduate of the Graduate School of Design MDes '19 in Art, Design & the Public Domain & Critical Conservation.

WHAT TO BRING
- Downloaded Adobe Premiere Pro (part of Adobe Creative Cloud Creative Suite). Instructions to download Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Three video clips. This could be either clips of material you are needing to edit or sample video clips filmed in the manner they plan to record their dances. It would be great if you have at least three clips to play and practice with during the workshop.
