Black Culinary Culture & Social Justice” is a TED-style event featuring Therese Nelson, the founder of Black Culinary History, a “collaborative endeavor focused on being a living sanctuary for the collective history of black chefs in America.“ Nelson will discuss how and why culinary culture can be used as a tool for social change, and the future of black culinary culture as she sees it. The talk will be immediately followed by a light soul food reception.
