We all love our stuff! The exhibition "Show and Tell" pulls from the personal collections of members of the Ceramics Program community and highlights beloved objects from the mundane, the precious to pure kitsch. Individuals were asked to submit objects from their own collections and describe their object on paper. Exhibited alongside the object, the description tells us about both the object and the place it holds in the owner's home and/or their heart.
The opening celebration for "Show and Tell" on Friday, September 8th, invites everyone to get to know members of our Ceramics Program community and celebrate our common love of the ceramic object - in whatever form that may take.
*Note: a Panel Discussion on legendary potters Warren MacKenzie and John Reeve, presented by Lacoste Gallery, will begin at 6pm next door at the Harvard Ed Portal following this reception. Make an evening of it and go to both!
