Saturday, April 6, 2019, 10:30am to 4:35pm
Harvard Art Museums, 32 Quincy Street, Cambridge, MA 02138
In honor of Slow Art Day, Caitlin Casey, a student in the arts in education program at Harvard’s Graduate School of Education (HGSE), will guide visitors in a special mindfulness meditation session. Inspired by Christophe Andre’s book Looking at Mindfulness: Twenty-Five Paintings to Change the Way You Live and HGSE’s Project Zero, which offers thinking routines like See-Wonder-Connect, this meditative experience will allow visitors to engage deeply with an 18th-century Chinese scholar’s rock from the Qing dynasty. Free with museums admission. This tour is limited to 10 people and tickets are required. For more information, click here.
