Omo Naija at Cultural Rhythms, 2017.

Spring 2018 Student Group-in-Residence Omo Naija invites the Harvard community to join them for a meet-and-greet/mini workshop, open rehearsal, and an informal showing at the Harvard Dance Center the week of February 25-March 2! An all student-led contemporary Nigerian dance group, Omo Naija's movement fuses West African dance traditions with western contemporary culture.

Here's what's happening at Harvard Dance Center:

Meet the Dancers + mini workshop
Sunday, February 25, 3-4pm

Meet the dancers of Omo Naija and learn a work from their repertory.

Open Rehearsal 
Tuesday, February 27, 8-10pm

Get an inside look at Omo Naija's process and a sneak preview of the works they will be performing in the Cultural Rhythms Show at Sanders Theatre on March 4. 

Informal Showing 
Friday, March 2, 5-7pm

A culmination of Omo Naija's Harvard Dance Center residency where they will showcase their growth as a company by highlighting various works from their past performances. Refreshments served!
