The Austen Trio from England (Pianist Samantha Carrasco, Harpist Kate Ham and Soprano Helen Neeves) Performing music loved and played by Jane Austen.
For the first time in the United States, the Austen Trio will present their unique repertoire, the result of in-depth exploration into the Austen Family Music Books found at the Jane Austen's House Museum in Chawton, England. The research was undertaken by Samantha Carrasco for her PhD dissertation: "The Austen Family Music Books and Hampshire Music Culture 1770-1820."
