When you need an escape, where do you go? In this classic farce, Oscar Wilde explores the complications that are bound to arise when one attempts to balance a public and a private life. As Wilde’s keen observations regarding the nature of Victorian society and relationships remain as prevalent today as they were in 1895, this production will be set in the modern-day lofts of Williamsburg, Brooklyn and the manicured lawns of the Hamptons. No matter the time or place, one can always realize the “vital Importance of Being Earnest.”

Please note: The Importance of Being Earnest is FREE on opening night (Oct. 16) and on Thursday, Oct. 22.
