Bach’s Mass in B Minor marks a monumental start to Collegium’s spring season. The piece dates back to the 18th century, and follows, in four parts, a path of contemplation and symbolic rebirth. Sung in up to eight harmonic voice parts throughout, and punctuated by powerful student solos, Collegium’s production will feature a professional orchestra and period instruments true to Bach’s own time. Join us on a journey of reflection as we bring Bach’s touching, exhilarating, and occasionally heart-wrenching masterpiece to life.
