Charlotte Leib, curatorial intern at the Harvard Art Museums and graduate student at the Harvard Graduate School of Design, will give this gallery talk.

Presented in conjunction with the exhibition The Bauhaus and Harvard (February 8–July 28, 2019), the talk will discuss how the New Architecture of the Bauhaus aimed to transform the domestic dwelling into a rational, efficient, and functional space while also seeking to bring inside and outside space into closer harmony. Leib will focus on photographs and drawings of three projects in Dessau, Germany: the Bauhaus Campus (1926), the Bauhaus Faculty Housing (1926–28), and the Törten Housing Development (1926–28).
