Sanders Theater, Memorial Hall Complex, 45 Quincy Street, Cambridge, MA 02138
This work is based on a translation of the poem "The Seasons" written by the Scottish writer James Thomson. The piece is an illustration of Haydn's perception of man and nature in ‘modern’ times and the work makes his views explicit. The Harvard-Radcliffe Chorus will be accompanied by soloists; Sarah Yanovich, Jason Budris, and Paul Max Tipton, and professional musicians on period instruments. Tickets ($15-25) may be purchased from the Harvard Box Office or through chourus members. Free for students. For tickets and additional information, click here.
