In conjunction with Houghton Library's exhibition Victorian Visionary: John Ruskin and the Realization of the Ideal, R. Dyke Benjamin, President of the American Trust for the British Library, will present his lecture “The Formation Of A Private Collection For The Public Good: John Ruskin And His Transatlantic Inspiration.” A graduate of Harvard College and Harvard Business School, Benjamin has been a student and collector of John Ruskin’s works for 50 years.
