Now on its fourth cycle, the Radcliffe Institute Public Art Competition has transformed Radcliffe Yard with bold, student-designed, site-specific installations. "Art in the Yard" showcases the remarkable student work generated in this biennial competition by presenting past winning designs alongside a behind-the-scenes look at design proposals submitted in this year’s competition.

On view in the gallery are striking large-scale photographs, informative documentary videos focused on Harvard students and their winning designs, historic images of the installation site from the Schlesinger Library, and models and materials developed by current student competitors. This exhibition not only spotlights student work but also presents a unique look at the potential for public art to stimulate aesthetic and intellectual conversations here at Harvard and beyond.
