Catalogue (First Edition)
Choreography by William Forsythe
featuring Christopher Roman and Jill Johnson, dancers

Performance at Widener Library Rotunda (open to Harvard ID holders), 1 Harvard Yard, Cambridge, MA.

An “intricate, almost baroque piece” is how the celebrated choreographer William Forsythe describes Catalogue (First Edition), his new piece for the DANCE ON ENSEMBLE. The idea for the duet came from an intention to highlight the special relationship, shared sensibilities, and coordinative skill set of Jill Johnson and Christopher Roman. They have collaborated closely for a long time, staging many of Forsythe’s works all over the world.

Christopher Roman, Artistic Director of the Dance On Ensemble
Jill Johnson, Senior Lecturer on Music/Theater, Dance & Media and Director of Dance at Harvard University
