This lecture by Ittai Weinryb, assistant professor at the Bard Graduate Center, is part of the 2017 Harvard Medieval Material Cultures program Breaking the Mold: Metal as Material, Medium, and Message in the Middle Ages.

Weinryb will be leading two related workshops at the Harvard Art Museums on March 30: Medieval Metal—Method and Meanings (morning session) and Medieval Metal—Process and Practices (afternoon session).
