Tableware 101

Level: Beginning - Intermediate

Course description: This beginning to intermediate level class will explore the functional object and its relationship to the dinner table. Special attention will be paid to creating properly functioning forms such as bowls, plates, cups, and more. Methods of throwing, trimming, hand building and a variety of finishing techniques will be demonstrated and discussed. (12 classes/14 weeks)

Course Fee:  $125.00 for Harvard Undergraduates, $250 for Harvard Graduate Students, $885 for Adult Community
