Course description: Demonstrations, individual critiques, and lots of hands-on time will engage students in learning the basics of wheel throwing, hand building, and surface decoration. Creative approaches to altered and combined elements will provide challenges for more experienced students. (9 classes/10 weeks) *Note: No Classes on Thursday, July 4th for Independence Day!

Course Fees: $125 for Harvard Undergraduate Students, $275 for Harvard Graduate Students, $875 for Adult Community, TAP Regular and Long Service - Follow instructions in online registration system for pricing.

 

Your course fee covers use of all clays (terra cotta, stoneware, sculpture body, porcelain), bisque firing, glazes, and glaze firing up to 8,000 cu. inches of kiln space, as well as 7-day access to the ceramics program and its equipment from the start date of your class through August 10th.

Registration begins on Wednesday, April 17th at 11am!
