Each year, the Program opens its doors to faculty and students from Harvard University departments to provide an interactive lab environment and resource for the history, chemistry, and technology behind working with clay. Students involved in [Anthropology](https://www.flickr.com/photos/harvardarts/albums/72157711863675521) and Archeology, [Humanities](https://www.flickr.com/photos/harvardarts/albums/72157689739905010), [Art History](https://www.flickr.com/photos/harvardarts/albums/72157711852120217), [Visual Art](https://www.flickr.com/photos/harvardarts/albums/72157678765395331), [History](https://www.flickr.com/photos/harvardarts/albums/72157711572167358), [Education](https://www.flickr.com/photos/harvardarts/albums/72157689477147870) and [Engineering](https://www.flickr.com/photos/harvardarts/albums/72157688009760214) courses have interacted with the studio to learn more about the science and techniques used in field of ceramics. Scholars from the [Graduate School of Design](https://www.flickr.com/photos/harvardarts/albums/72157677003757027) have utilized the Program as a lab to investigate the intersection of ceramic materials with robotic and 3D printing technologies.
