Illuminating one of the most neglected musical genres, Chesney Snow (actor, beatboxer, poet, musician and songwriter) and Rich McKeown (President, KoolKidz Television & Publishing LLC) return to Harvard for a beatboxing workshop/conversation and performance. Last year, Snow and McKeown—executive producers of the documentary “American Beatboxer” American Beatboxer—were joined by director Manauvaskar Kublall to screen the film, which highlights the growing beatboxing scene in the U.S. This year, their focus is on the international community. Joining them will be Alem, the world beatbox champion; Dharni, the two-time Grand Beatbox Battle champion; and Pepouni, the creator of swissbeatbox.com, one of the foremost beatboxing channels.
