Okwui Okpokwasili
New York-based writer, performer, and choreographer Okwui Okpokwasili will teach a master class titled Embodied Practice: How does the body make a narrative? How does one build a movement vocabulary around the psychic condition of a character? Using text as an initial generating tool, participants will work individually and in groups to explore an emergent narrative through the building of a gestural vocabulary.
