This workshop invites curious minds from all walks of life to experience Pilobolus's creative process and learn to access untapped areas of creativity. This class will be playful, group-driven, physically challenging and fun!

Francesca Harper is a choreographer/singer/video artist, a 2012 Living History Awardee, founder of The Francesca Harper Project, Broadway performer, and former dancer with Dance Theater of Harlem and principal dancer in William Forsythe's Frankfurt Ballet. Ms. Harper will teach an improv master class.
Participants: Intermediate or advanced dance experience required; free, open class.
Observers: Free and open to the public.
All Dance Program master classes are open to participants 18 years of age and older.
Audience members are invited to attend for any length of time during this two-hour durational installation, choreographed by Dance Director Jill Johnson in collaboration with Harvard Dance Project student dancers.
LOOK UP aims to be an analog antidote to digital overload, inspired by the work of architect Louis Kahn, Professor Stephen Greenblatt's book The Swerve and recent research into how the brain perceives digital media.

This April 10-18, the Dance Program will present an evening of duets new and repertory dance works in a wide range of styles and choreographic approaches performed by Harvard student dancers. Choreographers are: Brian Brooks, Michelle Dorrance, William Forsythe, Francesca Harper, Jill Johnson, and Crystal Pite.
