    Join us in welcoming Ruth Easterbrook to the Ceramics Program, Office for the Arts as one of Ruth Easterbrookour 2019-2020 Artist-in-Residence. Easterbrook will also be an instructor with the program teaching both "Introduction to the Wheel" and "Combined Methods". Easterbrook will present her work and discuss the progression of her career in this visual presentation.

    Join us in welcoming Paul Briggs to the Ceramics Program, Paul Briggs at WorkOffice for the Arts as one of our 2019-2020 Artist-in-Residence. Briggs will also be an instructor with the Ceramics Program teaching classes like "Rethinking Pinch Forming". Briggs will discuss his career and progression of hand-built and pinched vessels and sculptures in this visual presentation.

    Please join us in welcoming Kyle Johns to the Ceramics Program - Office for the Arts, one of our incoming 2019-2020 Kyle Johns Artists-in-Residence. Johns will share his work, which is often made from multiple molds and cast in a myriad of colored slips. Johns will be an instructor in the Ceramics Program "Molds and Multiples" class this Fall as well as "Interdisciplinary Projects" and the Harvard Graduate School of Design course SCI-6317.

    Visiting Artist Workshop with Linda Christianson and George McCauley

    Linda Christianson and George McCauleyPotters Linda Christianson and George McCauley have a combined "100 years of experience, travels, workshop histories, exhibitions, stories, studio work and teaching experience.” This two-day Master Class addresses form, surface and a variety of firing methods. Both feel strongly about form as an essential element in their work. The artists will discuss their own specific surface treatments and experience in firing including atmospheric firing, soda, wood and low temperature wood firing.

    Wednesday & Thursday November 13 & 14, 2019 10am - 5pm each day

    Registration Costs: Adult Community $200, Adult Community enrolled in a course at the Ceramics Program $150, Harvard Graduate Students $80.00 and free for Harvard College Undergraduate Students.
