Wendy Whelan is one of America's most celebrated ballerinas. Whelan was a principal dancer with the New York City Ballet for 30 years and amongst her awards are The Jerome Robbins Award and Bessie Award. Ms. Whelan is currently on a 3-year national tour of her "Restless Creature" project, and is also working on other freelance projects in dance and opera. She has enlarged the art she serves.
