"Treat and Greet": Where local goblins meet

by Ceramics

Last week, Barry's Corner hosted a "Treat and Greet" event featuring the businesses and organizations at the intersection of North Harvard Street and Western Ave. in Allston. Participants were wide ranging, including the Harvard Allston Education Portal and the Silk Road Project. Each local organization opened its doors to reveal a spooky decor in the spirit of Halloween. The Ceramics Program at the Office for the Arts at Harvard joined the celebration at its studios at 219 Western Ave, where organizers spared no horror in welcoming guests to its haunted abode. Acting program director and resident witch for the day Shawn Panepinto coaxed young princesses and brave ninja turtles into the ceramics lair. A car-sized spider, blood-dripping smiles, a skeleton throwing a pot (eek!): View our pictures below....if you dare! [http://www.flickr.com/apps/slideshow/show.swf?v=71649]
