The arts at Harvard are a part of every student’s life. But for the most promising art makers at Harvard, they are a way of life. The Office for the Arts asked recent graduates and other students involved with the arts to tell incoming freshman about their experiences with Harvard’s bustling art scene and to offer advice they wish they had been given as they started their first year. The main message: Make art. And don’t stop there. Your classmates and alumni in the arts have much more to say about classes, professors, blazing your own trail and making Harvard an arts encounter you not only won’t forget but can take with you out into the world.
This is the fourth of nine videos, with interviews by Sarah Burack ’10 and Harvard Arts Beat Blog editor Alicia Anstead, editing by Teresa Lattanzio and support from Emily Vides and Tom Lee at the Office for the Arts.
