She's one of those: an unapologetic, unflappable Sondheim fan. And that's lucky for the rest of us. Bendorf performed last fall in a production of "Putting It Together" in the Ex. Through May 21, she plays the Baker's Wife in the mainstage production of "Into the Woods" at the Loeb. Her character's development -- "she changes completely from beginning to end" -- could be said of any graduating senior. Bendorf reminds us that art, like life, is a lesson in giants, witches and the revelatory comfort that "no one is alone."
