Ceramics, public art and punk rock music are the top picks for a senior's last go round at ARTS FIRST.

This will be my final [ARTS FIRST Festival](https://calendar.college.harvard.edu/artsfirstfestival#tabs-34122683978676-34122683989944) as a student, so I’m both excited and a little sad! I truly can’t wait for this weekend — there are so many incredible events happening. Here, you can find three that I’ll definitely be attending.

**Wheel Throwing**
**Saturday, 1-5pm, on the Plaza**
This year I’ve been fortunate enough to enroll in a ceramics class through the OFA’s Ceramics Program in Allston. While throwing on the wheel can be a little tricky – I’ve accidentally sent more than one pot spinning – it’s also really fun. For those who haven’t made it over to the Allston campus but would still like to learn from OFA instructors,[ try your hand at the wheel throwing event](https://calendar.college.harvard.edu/event/arts_first_2023_make_art) on the Science Center Plaza this Saturday! There will be teachers, clay and wheels – the perfect environment for you to make your own pottery creation.

**An Inversive Enclosure**
**On View Thursday-Saturday, Harvard Yard**
This installation just seems really cool – and a ready-made photo opp for those of you who need interesting Instagram content. Three students from the Graduate School of Design have [created a “reflective structure”](https://calendar.college.harvard.edu/event/arts_first_public_art_an_inversive_enclosure) large enough for viewers to immerse themselves in it; all while seeing their reflections, of course. I’m envisioning something between a Kusama exhibit and the Chicago Bean.

**Stryk9**
**Saturday, 4:00-4:20, Holden Chapel**
Come see [Harvard’s own punk band Stryk9](https://calendar.college.harvard.edu/event/stryk9) perform at Holden Chapel this Saturday. I think that that description alone should at least interest you, though if you’re still not convinced I’ll just add that I’ve seen Stryk9 a few times in person, and it’s always really, really fun. While “Harvard” and “punk” might seem like diametrically opposed concepts, the members of Stryk9 consistently manage to put on truly authentic punk shows.
