Mamma Mia! may be one of the most foot-stomping, wacky, jukebox musicals to hit stage and screen. Find out what it was like to be in both Broadway and national tours of the show during this afternoon event with local actor and cabaret icon Mary Callanan. She'll be interviewed by Dana Knox, OFA production coordinator for college theater, perform a song and take questions from the audience about her career as a Broadway actress (Bridges of Madison County, Bandstand, Annie), and specifically her years of experience playing Rosie in both the Broadway and National companies of Mamma Mia! A veteran of many Boston theater companies, and countless New England cabaret clubs with pianist Brian Patton, Callanan has built a national career playing grand dames of the musical theater canon and performing in developmental workshops and concerts with theater legends.
