Community Arts Partners is a group of Harvard and community representatives that meets three times annually. Hosted by the Office for the Arts at Harvard, the group aims to promote meaningful connections between the Harvard and Boston/Cambridge communities through the arts. Harvard students, faculty and staff, and arts and education representatives from the community are welcome. Participants include the Cambridge Public Schools Visual and Performing Arts Department, Harvard Art Museums, Cambridge Arts Council, American Repertory Theater, and Harvard Square Business Association.

Maud Morgan Arts, a dynamic new community arts center named in honor of the noted artist and community resident Maud Morgan (1903-1999), offers a wide range of programs for all ages.

The Cambridge Center for Adult Education offers many art classes.

ARTS FIRST Festival

Harvard invites the public to four days of non-stop art. ARTS FIRST, the annual celebration of student and faculty creativity, takes place usually the last weekend in April/first weekend in May. Over 225 music, theater, dance, film, and visual arts events, most free of charge and open to the public, are on tap.
